Celestron 4.5 inch Modified Newtonian Telescope
This item was donated to Lucile Miller Observatory and has been restored to working order. It originally was a go-to telescope but the hand controller has issues. The scope is now an alt-az model requiring all movement to be done with the left-right-up-down buttons on the hand controller. Movement speed is adjustable. The telescope is 114mm diameter with a 1000mm focal length. The eyepiece holder has a built in Barlow lens making the short tube work like a longer telescope. The unit comes with a refurbished power supply, tripod, and a 25mm and 10mm 1.25 eyepieces.
